Rich Perotta - Author and Illustrator of The Incantesi
Rich Perrotta has been a professional comic book artist half of his life, starting at MARVEL COMICS in 1994 on staff and a year later, became a freelance inker from 1995-2004. After a few years off, Rich worked at DC Comics, once again, as an inker from 2010-2012. In 2013, he made the leap from just inking to pencil art as well as inking his own work, Creating sequential art for numerous independent comic book studios until 2020, where he decided to self-publish his inaugural project. A four part graphic novel comic book series titled…THE INCANTESI
The INCANTESI are a group of sorcerers from the 18th century dedicated to protect the world of man; regardless that they are hunted by those they protect. One day, one of the INCANTESI strike back and quickly form the WRATH, a group that branched off from the INCANTESI who's only purpose is the destruction of those they swore to protect. Over time, the WRATH become more malevolent as their numbers grew. The remaining INCANTESI manage to imprison the WRATH in a pocket dimension. However, there was a flaw in the spell that has to be corrected every other generation. Only the power of the last INCANTESI can fortify this prison.
We meet Cassandra, a dancer from Milan. Cassandra is thrown into the world of the mystic arts when she discovers in the worst ways possible, that she is as the last of the INCANTESI; the heir apparent to mastery of sorcery as well as the keeper of the WRATH. Cassandra, forced into this life and finding out the secrets as to WHY she is to be the LAST of the INCANTESI, will leave her with a terrible choice at the last possible minute.... will she embrace her destiny, or be consumed by it?
The KICKSTARTER CAMPAIGN starts on June 27 at 6 pm , est.
